Bossa Nova

late night euphoria

I feel pretty happy right now. Work is okay and its getting better. The convos with co-workers are getting more personal… so for me that means instead of a simple “How are ya?” its: “Do you watch the Kardashians (excited squeal) OMGOSH the fuck is up with that range rover at 16?” and talkin bout fashion opinions and shtuff.

Not much to be happy bout. I DO HAVE OFF SATURDAY though. I’M SO FUCKING HAPPY about that. I fucking danced when I got the message :) I hope I wake up early enough to make exercise plans.

I didn’t have time to straighten my hair today and I kind of wigged out on myself. After I have my hair straight for a while it takes time for my perception of myself to change back to normal. Sometimes I feel so ugly with curly hair, its frustrating. I refuse to wear the styles of clothing I want to wear because the hair won’t match. I buy clothes with this image in mind and the curly hair just doesn’t add up. hahaha idk can’t expect anyone to understand, but it sucks that I feel this way. Guna try ta change that.

“The conversation with Amanda De Cadenet” is amazing and empowering on lifetime fucking amazing someone should watch. :) the end with random tyrade

You know what’s kind of beautiful?

timorleste:

In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”

I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.

Nujabes

I didn`t know until tonight that the creating force behind this name, Jun Seba, past away. His music really does hold a nostalgic element to it which makes the empathy all the more powerful. Why is life so sad.

Yesterday a guy that looked like John Stamos came to my work. His nose was slightly slender and nicer, hair was like CAPTIN AMERICA, periecing blue eyes gorgeous. So I approach the register to try and talk to this him. My male coworker ended up getting that customer and they had a 2min conversation about dasani water. FML could have been me;)
